Cheddar Cheese Biscuits
I have listened to those who say they don’t want the story, just the recipe. Done! If you decide you’d like the story after all, drop me a line.
1 stick of butter, or 1/2 C. (soft)
4 C. sharp cheddar, grated by hand or pulsed in the food processor
1 C. flour
1/2 - 1 t cayenne
salt to taste
Blend cheese and butter with a wooden spoon or in a mixer or food processor, then pulse in flour, pepper, and salt. Dump mix on to parchment paper and form into logs, chill, slice off a few and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes (should be firm and slightly different color than when they went in.)
